Job's Not Finished. (#21)

I'm excited to report that I've successfully advanced from the DECA State competition to the International Career Development Conference (ICDC)! It's a significant milestone and a testament to the hard work and dedication I've put into preparing for this competition.

My trip to Houston for the competition was not only fruitful but also enjoyable. The drive to Houston offered a great opportunity to unwind and enjoy the scenic views along the way. While in the city, I took some time to explore its vibrant culture, landmarks, and cuisine, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.

While I'm thrilled about my own success, I can't help but feel a sense of empathy for my friends who didn't advance to the next level. Their support and camaraderie have been invaluable throughout this journey, and their disappointment adds a bittersweet element to my own joy.

However, amidst the celebrations and reflections, I understand that the journey doesn't end here. As I prepare for ICDC, I'm reminded of the areas where I fell short last year. This time around, I'm committed to working even harder, addressing my weaknesses, and striving for excellence in every aspect of the competition.

As Kobe Bryant once said: "The job's not finished."
