This past week, I have mainly focused on academics, so I fell a bit behind on research for ISM. I'm working on wrapping my assessment #3 a bit late, so it should be done later today. Arjun, Rudy, and I filmed our fashion show video, and I could not stop cackling as I put the clips together and prepared them to be played in class. I hope to set an example for future ISM I students (please show everyone my video, Mr. Ratliff!) My mom has been in India for the past week, and something I didn't anticipate was the responsibility that came with my mother's hiatus. I suppose that I should be prepared to become self-dependent. Still, with my brother and dad always out of the house, I have had to pick up a lot of additional burdens, like cleaning the house and preparing food in addition to groceries, which I used to do before. Yesterday, some girl at who goes to Wakeland hit my car while it was parked at the Library. I feel frustrated about this since I can't use my car all week, and it throws a wrench in my plans. In my process of finding a new mentor, I have not had any interviews, but I am in the process of compiling profiles, making cold calls, and mass-emailing ML professionals not only in DFW but across the US.
