This past week, I took it pretty easy. I celebrated thanksgiving, went on a trip to Houston and grinded DECA. However, I still was very much thinking about my ISM prospects. I had my 3rd and (hopefully) final interview. I had an interview with Mr. Tonderai Madamba, a Machine Learning Engineer at Target. We spoke about his career and slowly transitioned into my topic and my research. We spoke in depth about various aspects of computer vision, and he helped me clarify my plans for this year regarding my research and topic. He guided me through the process of traing a model, and pointed me in the right direction. This one interview has convinced me that he is the perfect mentor for me. The way he spoke made it very clear that he is an experienced, level-headed, professional who can really assist me through this program. Later this week, I am planning on reaching out to Mr, Madamba, requesting for a mentorship. If things go well, I'll have a mentor very soon!
