This past week, Rayhan and I have been busy planning our second AI conference, which is scheduled for early November. We’ve got a solid agenda shaping up, with a few keynote speakers lined up, sessions where we’ll teach participants how to use Jupyter, and breakout rooms where attendees can apply their knowledge by building a simple model to tackle a real-world problem. The event will take place at UNT, and I’m really excited to have a more hands-on role this time since I wasn’t involved in organizing the last one from the start.
In addition to the conference, I plan to reach out to my mentor from last year. I want to see if he’s interested in picking up where we left off and also gauge how much he knows about sequential models, which is my main focus this year. It’ll be great to get his input and see if we can collaborate again.
